I miss hearing this song in Thai Cinema!

I was shocked at first when I first went to the movies in Thailand, wasn't expecting this... had to stand up at the beginning of the movie to listen to this song and pay respect to the king.
but it's a good song.. and it's good that they love and respect there king so much!!

@CassandraHCM Not the EXACT one, no : / There's a few 'round here, but they're not that particular one.
Got a lot of Thai friends though, so it's only a matter of time! ^_-

@Sablicious yess!! It always made me cry.. have you been able to find it?
-
@ilovetongmew Not standing is embarrassing to other farangs.
Even if u dont respect the King, for whatever reason (including ignorane), u should still stand. U'r in a foreign country & should abide by their customs. Would u go drinking in the streets of Dubai? Take your bikini clad girfriend to the beach in Iran? Methinks no. And those are intolerant shit-hole countries. Thailand is clearly not (albeit troubled).
Being a sex tourist is one thing. A DISRESPECTFUL sex tourist is another.

@PaulchenPanther421 Proof/link or GTFO. <_<

@CassandraHCM Methinks you saw the one I did (was there around that time too). Is it the one with the archival video footage of the King? The resounding orchestral version? I think that;s the best one I've seen/heard.

Anyone got a link to this tribute, the one they played in cinemas 2007-8? It's the one with the archival video footage of King Bhumibol doing all his 'benevolent' whatsits. It's an orchestral version and is choired by young adults seemingly... maybe children, not sure.
I found that one the most moving. The use of farang elements (orchestra, choir etc) in this tribute really work wonders. If it was all traditional Thai music, I doubt it would have the same effect.

i love my king
he has made everything for people .
Anyone who don't respect him , they should get out from Thailand
The king never ask anything from people, he just always give give and give !
I just cam back from Thailand and the video they played at the movies was different, it was very touching and I want to see it again, we saw it at SF cinema... and on tv several times does anyone have the video I'm talking about?

Most cities and movie theaters have different variations of this.
