Madden 2010, How seriously EA takes its game and what they say it does to you.

Its one thing to mislead consumers on a product but isnt it another to mislead the public? Maybe its time to let EA know Madden doesnt make you buy, watch or go to more NFL games. Those are things you would do with or without the game.

How long before we hear NFS makes you a better driver or COD strengthens your history knowledge?

Not only am I disgusted by this survey, it's totally ridiculous. They have no intention of improving their game. They are obviously making attempts to justify that their game enhances your football knowledge and creates revenue for the NFL. Like apexisfree said a long time ago, EA is great at marketing. If only they had a good football game to market. The fact that they charge for add-ons proves my point. All they care about is money since they have the exclusive rights. Fix the game, EA!

Madden 10 is not a football game. It is a display of NFL uniforms and computer graphic players wrapped up in staged animations. You do not have control over the action. It is dictated for you by the program. You're better off just watching football on tv, going to a real game, or playing in a real game. Of course, you could just play 2k8. An awesome game.

Sit, play video game, watch football, consume NFL related items and NFL sponsored items and watch and buy shown NFL commercials. "It's a win win win win baby!" EA did the right thing...look at the money they made. Sure they screwed video gaming football and set it back 7 years...but in the grand scheme...you'd have done the same in a heartbeat. While I agree Madden doesnt strengthen my passion as a fan. But one thing madden and NCAA football have taught me through the years is routes and all that, I learned football through the madden series. I learned what zone blocking and a post route is. Madden can be educational to someone new to the sport. But it doesnt make me a passionate fan
