I love how the director Richard Linklater chose not to put subtitles where a language other than English is spoken. It truly places us inside the film as if we were also really there and adds to the overall authenticity. Esp. in the restaurant scene here that shows all the different tables'-worth of people speaking German and then it shows the American couple with the tacky, rude guy shallowly complaining about the service. Such an awesome juxtaposition! I love everything about this movie!!! :-)
