From the LP THE JIM REEVES WAY this beautiful ballad by "Gentleman Jim" is from one of his last studio sessions and was written by Cindy Walker, composer of Distant Drums; the lady in the video is the lovely actress Maureen O'Hara.

I've been a Jim Reeves fan since the 60's and this is one of my favorite songs by him. Truly a great talent with a magnificent voice. One of my all time favorite signers. RIP Jim.

absoultly beutiful i still love the voice of jim reeves and have many of his recordes but sadly after all this time the people who were around at the time are either dead or too old to care any more so the only thing left of jim reeves is the music he left behind but his voice will never die as long as i am around
