This is just a way of strumming I sort of made up over the years. If anyone is interested, there are more flamenco-inspired techniques I have developed, and I can post these.

Here's a video of me playing a guitar solo:

  • This style is most similar to Flamenco strumming. The wood of the guitar can be hit at any time in the pattern, I was doing that in the video. time signature is 4/4. Its a pattern consisting of 16 16th notes.

  • Sounds great. What's the name of this style of strumming? Are you hitting the guitar at any point in the strumming? If so when? What's the time signature? thanks
