www.sitech.se Instruction video for REMOVAL of plastic flow restriction insert in SI TECH low pressure dry suit. The recall procedure is placed with the requisite consumer agencies. WARNING! DO NOT dive with SI TECH hose before the insert has been located and removed! More information about the recall process can be found on the SI TECH website, www.sitech.se.
Actually the restrictor in the supply hose is the result of a requirement in a standard, the flow into the suit shall be less than the outflow capacity of the dry suit dump valve.
I personally believe that the flow limitation sucks...

I hope this isn't from the manufacturer. There is no explanation of what tech is doing, why he is doing it, or how it is being done. A few words would be helpful.
A restrictor is there in case something goes wrong (busted inflator hose). That way you can breath as you surface.

Yes it's a simple fix, but one has to wonder...why did we need a flow restrictor in the hose in the first place? If too much air is going into your drysuit STOP pushing the stupid inflator.

Mine was a black one and it just fell out.
I thought SITECH had fixed their issue with this hose system, you know when it would just pop off on its own?
But thanks for the heads up YE4 batch.
