@plymouthroadrunner1 I could not agree anymore! Dodge and Plymouth ruled the whole curcuit. If they brought back the unrestricted HEMI's, That would be real racing..

Petty's engine blew early in the race, but his team mate, Pete Hamilton in the no. 40 Superbird, won the race. Petty would win 7 races that season in a Superbird, but Bobby Isaac won the Grand National championship...in a Charger Daytona.

@74rockon the 427 cobra is more powerfull than the 429 boss (i forgot how much) but the 426 hemi still has 20 Hp more than the 427 cobra. Still all good engines though
