The Duggars aren't the typical family, but with twenty family members and twenty years under their belts they've made it work. Watch as Jim Bob and Michelle take a look back at their beginnings as a family and strengthen their future by renewing their vows.

  • Yeah they look like a nice family but in the end I rather have the occasional bickering with my 1 sister then make up and go out for happy hour, some beers and a movie. Go to work, save up for a big screen tv, play some games on the big screen, kiss a bf/gf, Go mountain climbing, para-shooting. So what will it be a superhappy-pure restricted existence for an entire lifetime or taking the risks of excitement. I guess happiness is in the eye of the beholder. Good for the Duggars but I dont envy

  • @Crillia not only is it selfish (they would adopt children that need families if they cared so much about sharing God's love with others), it's unfair to their other children who end up raising each other and are deprived of a childhood and parents, not to mention irresponsible. Michelle's uterus has already prolapsed (literally FALLEN OUT) several times. She very nearly died in childbirth.

  • @kathrynlacky they may put on a happy face for the camera, but a large part of that is thanks to the teachings in the Quiverfull movement on how you're not allowed to show any kind of negative emotion because it displeases God. also I recommend you Googling "blanket training" which is a cruel form of "disciplining" infants that the Duggars have admitted to practicing. there's a lot going on behind the scenes and if you take a closer look at the family + Michelle's "tips on how to be a good wife"

  • @kathrynlacky their family is NOT amazing. they're part of the psychotic Quiverfull Movement in the US. they brainwash their children, prevent them from learning anything about the world around them, prevent them from having any privacy (why do you think they all sleep in the same room and have chaperones for everything?) and once Michelle gives birth and "weans" the baby it's handed off to a "buddy" sibling and the older kids raise it. google and learn about them. it's disturbing.

  • Also weird how this family believes males are better than females. They ain't that happy lookin'

  • @Blitzfoofoo That sounds about right. However, the "fear" towards the Lord seems to be both respect and the knowledge that, if He wanted to, He could definitely destroy us all. Thankfully, even though we all deserve to be 'destroyed', He is a merciful God. Okay, well, that's all I'm going to say. Thank you for taking the time, I guess, haha. :)

  • jill is beautiful

  • @IJustMovedHere Hahaahh I was thinking the same thing about 10 minutes ago. 1 in 10 are gay so it's probably gonna happen!

  • @FearfullyFantastic ...be good without the fear of being punished by their parents if they misbehave, as the side of the brain which allows for analytical thinking hasn't fully developed yet (so no, they can't "scheme", like these people teach). Oh, and you can't say that these kids are being good because they're Christian, because, really, just look at Fox News. They manipulate facts just so the candidate who will keep allowing them to make money will win in a presidential election.

  • @FearfullyFantastic Also, I meant to say, "start a rebellion" with that Satan statement. Because that's what he tried to do. Except in this case, it will be for a good reason. Oh, yeah, and I think several seasons is plenty of time to explore the personality of more characters than there are in The Simpsons. By the way, if you think kids are selfish, guess what? Morality is an advanced cognitive function! The reason kids are jerks is because they haven't developed the brainpower necessary to...
