I believe most Christians, including me are afraid to admit their sins to people. I hate to say it but most Christians be the most judgmental people, so most of us are scared to confess. I know that it may be better if everyone showed the love of Christ, but many people condemn you to hell and offer no help. The Bible says if any man is overtaken with fault,ye that are spiritual, restore one another, lest you also be tempted. we are the body of Christ, we need each other!

I've always been to afraid to confess because my biggest struggle is something that girls aren't supposed to struggle with. For the past couple years I've been struggling with an addiction to pornography and I guess I'm thinking that if I can work up the courage to confess it in the most impersonal way, over youtube, I might find the courage to tell someone in my life.

@kgfields289 trust me, no, trust God, when it's your time he will call you home and welcome you with open arms. but you have to wait for God. when things get really tough just find a quiet place, anyplace, and be still. cut out all the sounds and thoughts and memories and just be. feel the presence of God around you no matter where you are. Lay down all of your burdens and let God restore your soul. And when you're done you'll have to return to your normal life, but you'll feel closer with God

I have dealt with sin for several years. My story sounds like a bunch of others, because it is about sexual sin. I don't know why, but it is a horrible addiction for me! I am hoping that sometime I will be able to build up the courage to tell someone in my life. Please pray for me! :'(

Hi I'm kaitlyn. I'm 12 and I'm a lover of Christ. I accepted him into my heart July 30,2006. Recently, my 80 year old grandma has been telling me that I'm gonna go to hell and I should kill myself. It hurts. And considering my parents don't care, I HAVE been trying to end my life. I've ended up in the ER 8 times in the past 6 months. Confessing to others is hard, when you are at your most vulnerable and running from the very thing that you are confessing to someone. Something I would like to know, Why is it the number one sin that most people confess is sexual addiction or Porn? It's like that's the headline when I think of confessing at times. I hardly hear people confessing that they are jealous, or angry or that they cut themselves or that they hurt other people... Why is this one sin so important in people's lives?
