It a bit of déjà vu, Cooler Master is re-releasing the Storm Sniper chassis in a black edition and they have given it some final tweaks to make it one of the most attractive case options available in its category.

Initially released early last year, the original Sniper was praised by many for its unique design, attention to detail and surprisingly robust quality all for under $200. The Black Edition goes even further, adopting an all black interior to further the aggressive look and keep up with current trends

The Sniper features three enormous 200mm fans that make this case into a miniature wind tunnel, however a fan controller is included to allow users to adjust to airflow and noise to the perfect equilibrium. The design of the interior serves to amplify the cooling benefits, and even a amateur builder can make wires virtually disappear. The Sniper is arguably one of the best cases for cabling that we have ever had the pleasure of using!

Its unique exterior aesthetics may not be for everyone, but they have chosen a theme and the design definitely mimics it. The build quality is very sturdy, and even with what may be considered a slight overuse of plastic, they havn't let quality slip. Nothing feels flimsy or breakable. Steel reinforced bracing is reassuring for those packing it around, and installation of the components with the screw-less design doesn't leave a builder worried.

And best of all, the improvements to the case havn't caused the cost to skyrocket. It rings it at the same modest price tag as the .

Undoubtedly, the Cooler Master Storm Sniper Black Edition is "Dam Good".

  • @124Z312 I realize that >_< anyway I bought this case for my P67 build and so far it's been AWESOME! Silent but still moves a ton of air with the fan controller set to low.....and the cable management was very nice, the right side panel goes on without any problems even if you have a big mess of cables behind the motherboard tray.

    I recommend this case :)

  • @jumpwaffles I've had a Cooler Master case that has been damaged during delivery and when I called CM to rage, they apologized and replaced it quickly, understanding my situation.

So I like their service, will buy from them again, feeling secure they will take care of me in case something goes wrong.

  • Have this case over 2 years now, and its still very good, have a gtx580 in there, I think if you get this case, you will have a fucking good case for the next 10+ years.

  • Will 2x GTX 590 fit in that? Please reply!

  • @1981z28camaro There's another version of this case with a side panel.

  • Could anyone help me out? :)

I am planning to use Corsair H80 CPU watercooler and two Sapphire Radeon HD 6790 1GB GDDR5

Will there be enough space in this case? Hope for a quick answer

  • Did this one replace the scout one? like which one is better?

  • Anyone know if this baby fits the Noctua NH-D14 and 2 GTX 570? From the looks on the video, it looks like it can but with little room.

  • Wat motherboard was in that case?
