THE SEARCHERS - DA DOO RON RON

This cover version by the Searchers made it big in the Philippines in 1964 at the onset of the British Invasion. In fact, it was even bigger than the Crystals' original version, which never gained any airplay in Manila because at that time (1963), we were focused on instrumental groups such as The Shadows, The Ventures, The Eagles (UK) and Cliff Richard.

My late brother, George, & the band The Satellites, used to perform this Searchers song plus Sweets for my Sweet & Sugar & Spice at parties in Manila during the 60's. Thanks for posting, might share it @ FB.
