Go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com if you are interested in high adventure and want to participate in recovering World War 2 treasure. Massive looting as an extension of war is nothing new. The Japanese were serious, sober, and deliberate when they methodically and systematically looted thirteen Asian Countries during World War 2. They took treasure including precious diamonds and other gems, gold bullion, and solid gold Buddha's out of every hiding place. Much of this treasure did not make it back to Japan due to a World War 2 naval blockade of the Philippine islands by the United States, and has been recovered recently in underground hiding places. Widespread and systematic looting took place during World War 2 throughout Europe and Asia. For details, go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com

  • Re things militaristic, lessons learned are usually negative ones, i.e., someone died for no good reason and to no good purpose and so let us find out what went wrong so that such won't happen again. The Makin raid is one such lesson and was never repeated during that war. And some paid for their sin, and so not only Makin but also Tarawa was hardened, which wasn't a good thing when some came a calling later, as the hardening only served to increase the number of dead on both sides.

  • USMC, Sempre Fi!!!

  • @spacesoviet59 The USA forces in Philippines at that time lost all their air support when Japs bombed the airfields. Japanese invading forces also have at that time more superior firepower. THE USAFFE forces were outgunned and encircled. After weeks of brutal fighting in the jungles and mountains, suffering from hunger, disease and dwindling ammunitions, the US and Filipino defenders surrendered. If they knew what the Japs will do to them they will probably choose to fight to the death.

  • From then on any GIs who have doubts about any Japs surrendering open fire, and even bayonet or shoot to the head any Jap soldiers asking for help or looking wounded. You cannot blame the GIs, these Japs brought this to themselves.

  • The Japanese Imperial army at that time were trained to be brutal. They were commanded not to surrender and to even deceive their enemies that they are surrendering while carrying a grenade to blow up themselves and everybody else around them. They were also commanded to fake injury so that when American medics or soldiers try to help them, they will then strike out with their hidden weapon.

The American GIs, seeing multiple cases of this kind of treachery, adjusted to Jap soldiers' barbarity.

  • @MAKER6450 the T38 was chambered for the rather small 6.5x50sr cartrige, but becase of the strong action they could load the ammunition to very high pressures.this probobly would have worked but they tried to switch to the 7.7x58mm cartrige mid-war wich caused a lugistical nightmare.but overall up untill mid 1943 their weapons were quality weapons.and the 7.7x58 was based off the .303,theyjust lengthend the neck a little and removed the rim

  • @akdude182 Im not an expert with guns so im wont pretend to know much

but from what iv heard in docos is that thier rifles were very old.

Didnt the T38 have a very small round?

They had the chance to up-grade thier rifle but stuck to the old one....wich was bad IMO.

having all that different size ammo was stupid....would of been almost imposible to keep up supply when cut off.

We aussies used the 303 rifle a Bren machine gun.

  • @MAKER6450 no early on they had good quality weapons the arisaka T38 and T99.wich had the strongest actions of both world warsthey had some fine machine guns.the poblem was they were all chambered for a different cartrige.so they had about 5 or 6 diferent caliber weapons in every squad.

  • @mannie71170 You're joking when he says that the death of the Japanese atomic bomb was hit by fast. Thousands died in agony, burned by radiation, drinking the "water" of the black rain that followed. Then came the genetic deformities. You really are a joker.

  • u need higher quality, but good upload thanks

  • @helcio1960 If you have to choose of your death..what will you choose? ATOMIC bomb of Americans? or Beheaded by Sword by a JApanese? I will prefer Atomic bomb..less pain..The Japanese were Beheading thier POWs.. that was recorded.
