Mario Kart Wii Wi Fi Matches #2

Here we have some online Mario Kart Wii races. If you haven't noticed by the tag, I joined a room with a couple of friends.

Race #1 - Mushroom Gorge
At the beginning of the 2nd Lap, a shock activated while I had a Mega Mushroom in use, this enabled me to take the lead for a few seconds until someone threw a Fake Item Box right where I was heading. Thankfully I avoid the POW on the mushrooms, subsequently I get shocked while attempting the shortcut across the grass. On the last lap I fall off due to getting a boost from behind Mature, although I manage to snatch 5th thanks to a Golden Mushroom.

Race #2 - Maple Treeway
Eh, I'm not a big fan of Maple Treeway. Those caterpillars annoy the hell out of me; they can essentially cost you quite a few places. I got star bashed in mid-air which put me in an odd situation, I decided to just re-take the jump.

Race #3 - DS Yoshi Falls
All it took was a well-timed shock at the end of Lap 2, the rest was just a free ride to victory.

Race #4 - Maple Treeway (again)
Another race on the ol' Treeway. I manage to keep a stable position for the first half of Lap 1, it was ended abruptly when I was knocked off the course by an Aero Glider. Most of the race was pretty average after that, apart from the last boost pad; I had just finished dodging the POW when I suddenly spotted a stray shell right infront of me. I swerved quickly to avoid it, in doing so I lost control and flew straight into the offroad area right before the line, thus losing me three places. Brilliant. ;)
