  • Nice suggestion vipor I'm gonna try and get this running on umbuntu

  • @airrunner85 yea this is ubuntu 10.10 under the hood so you don't have to add it to ubuntu it already is in there

  • thanks for giving me this heads up!!! EXCELLENT! I have zero problems paying a small amount for great games. Stuff has to have an incentive! And upkeep is a bitch sometimes. Great video!!

  • @nathanallan1 yea the games in there store are free along with playdeb, all linux software is mostly free..but the crossover stuff like stuff in steam and everywhere else you have to pay for..so like halo you showed on your latest video, that will run inside that distro which is cool

  • I like Windows Vista a bit better than 7 because i can actually use WMM and the Windows Live sucks because it cant hear my voice. I have to play around with it a lot longer than anything else. With Vista people wont hear the buzzing noise that 7 has.

  • @sarahkellett yea for some reason vista's movie maker works really good but in 7 there is some issues there

i used to run ubuntu on my computer, but then i took an arrow to the knee!

  • or you can crack windows 7

  • @vipor29 Thank you for this super awesome review. Actually the Game Store is a mix of games from playdeb, Ubuntu's own repository and commercial games such as Savage2 and Regnum. That's the beauty of it - Game Drift does not strive to be open source only - gamers don't want limits - they want as many great games to choose from as possible :-)

  • Good stuff. I agree with a lot of points you make, but I don't think you should give them a break since it's the first version.
