Nel 1158, il cavaliere Alberto da Giussano viene salvato da Federico I di Hohenstaufen, l'Imperatore Barbarossa. La vita per Alberto prosegue con tranquillità in famiglia, mentre Barbarossa persegue il suo sogno di realizzare l'impero universale. Per farlo gli è indispensabile il controllo sui Comuni ribelli del Nord Italia e il 10 marzo del 1162 invade per questo Milano, con le truppe imperiali, radendola al suolo. Durante l'assedio, Alberto perde i suoi fratelli e accecato dalla disperazione tenta di uccidere l'Imperatore.

@suiter11191 In fairness, for a lot of Europeans English isn't their first language. However, Europeans to tend to be more polylingual than Americans, something that American friends of mine have concurred with. For example, I'm Irish and I speak English as my first language, yet my French and Irish are reasonably competent and I also speak a bit of German.

@SquareCrystal I'm American and I've taught many students in Europe. Europeans are pretty fucking incredibly stupid also. Don't think Americans have the "patent" on stupidity. With all the excellent education that you are offered, many of you don't even take advantage of it. You, along with many of the youth in the West are stupid and wikipedia educated.
