A short about a couple visited by an angel. The couple want to go on a honeymoon, but can't. An angel shows up to...something. Phones play an important part...probably. Featured on MST3k.

This is a public domain short in the Rick Prelinger archive.

Ahhh, the days when smoking was safe and parking cars was dangerous! LOL! What a simpler world. Any body else remember when one could smoke in teh drug store while you were waiting on a perscription to be filled for you?

MST3K stands for Mystery Science Theater 3000 a show where a man and two robots are trapped in space and forced to watch bad movies and short films. The show involved the silhouettes of the man and the robots making hilarious sarcastic commentary on mainly older Science Fiction, Creature, Horror movies, and sometimes movies that weren't even related to any of those genres.

Looking at this and the short '21st Century Calling,' it's amazing how much clout the phone company held once upon a time.
