I've kept my synthetic wigs etc for quite a while. It's all about care. You can curl and flat iron them. Usually it will say it's heat safe fiber or kanekalon. When it looks a bit frizzy, you can wash them and add a bit of fabric softener in the rinse. Then you can detangle and curl again. Hope that helps.
