2. However, for some reason it doesn't. Perhaps that's because all of our oil deposits were created as a result of Noah's Flood, about 4600 years ago? Some scientists say that after about 10,000 years little pressure should be left. 5,6,7,8 Here's More.
When oil wells are drilled, the oil is almost always found to be under great pressure. This presents a problem for those who claim "millions of years" for the age of oil, simply because rocks are porous. In other words, as time goes by the oil should seep into tiny pores in the surrounding rock, and, over time, reduce the pressure.
Hopefully you can distinguish between what the Bible says and what so called christians are teaching. There is much room for disagreement between the teaching of the clergy and churches and the proposition of the Bible.
Now this is consistant thinking and I wish there were more people who could see the logic of their position. I agree that if there is no God giving purpose and meaning then there is nothing. We are left with silence where it is most important. As Plato said, without absolutes we cannot move. All that is left is a battle for ascendancy.
I agree religion is man made. A good example is these indigenous tribes they run across deep in jungles and they have no clue what modern religion is. I guess god didn't feel they were important enough to know about religion. Religion simply comforts people and gives them a sense of false hope and meaning. Even the tribes make up gods to praise to give them comfort and a sense of purpose. I don't have a problem with the fact that we simply live and die with no real purpose on earth.

1. Oil Pressure:

I take your point, I often make it myself. What if I was born in Iran, chances are I would be a muslim. However, God is sovereign.
