I know nothing about the technical stuff. I agree with you that the right thing is to give credit to whoever colorized Elvis, even though the movie was without color for story reasons. It is also vital that we not only keep alive Elvis but that we bring to attention of all naysayers that Elvis was known and admired worldwide although "the colonel" rejected desire of Elvis to tour the globe. Can you imagine how Elvis' was devastated to have his dream stifled? The Lisa Marie was stuck as well.
