I don't think I'll sleep a wink tonight, having seen some very suspicious looking rocks in my back garden this evening.

Giant rocks that suck up water from everywhere and then break apart and fall on you? How the hell did Lola Albright end up in this one?

A meteor from outer space wreaks havoc when broken shards grow when in contact with water, from any source, human or earth. The race is on to find the solution to stop them and save lives. Will they make it in time? A pretty good Sci Fi from the 50's. Neat cars and town. Good acting, not cheesy at all, a recomended watch.

"a cold sweat?"...man i would have liked to climb the twin peaks of mount allison...but im kind of a phreak...of course a 50 foot allison could squish me like a bug afterwards but that would be a helluva way to go...

I have this memorable film in "The Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection" Volume 1. Four other films are included: "Tarantula", The Incredible Shrinking Man (which also stars Grant Williams from the film above)," "The Mole People," and "Monster On the Campus." Then, there's Volume Two.............
