TV MELILLA entrevista a Christopher Gabriel Wastian

El joven antropólogo austriaco Christopher Gabriel Wastian es entrevistado por Salvador Ramírez en los estudios de Televisión Melilla. El motivo de su estancia en la ciudad española del norte de África, es el trabajo de investigación de ciudades fronterizas como Melilla a fin de preparar su tesis para el Doctorado en Antropología Social y Cultural que imparte en la Universidad de Bremen (Alemania). De hecho Chistopher ya obtuvo un reconocimiento del Ministerio de Ciencia e Investigación de la República de Austria por su trabajo de fin de carrera sobre la frontera de Méjico con Estados Unidos, lo cual realizó en la Universidad de Viena. Salvador Ramírez spricht mit dem jungen österreichischen Kultur- und Sozialanthropologen Christopher G. Wastian im Studio von TV Melilla. Der Grund seines Aufenthaltes in der spanischen Stadt an der Mittelmeerküste Nordafrikas ist eine Feldforschung, welche er im Rahmen seiner Dissertation zu Grenzstädten -- wie auch Melilla eine ist -- an der Universität Bremen durchführt. Für seine Diplomarbeit an der Universität Wien über die Grenze zwischen Mexiko und den USA erhielt Christopher den Würdigungspreis des Bundesministeriums für Wissenschaft und Forschung der Republik Österreich. Young Austrian anthropologist Christopher G. Wastian is interviewed by Salvador Ramírez in the studios of TV Melilla. The reason for his stay in the Spanish city at the mediterranean coast of Northern Africa are field studies which he is realizing within the scope of his dissertation on border towns, as it is the case with Melilla, at the University of Bremen (Germany). Algo que es difícil de que ocultes es tu sinceridad y franqueza. No cambias tu postura, pues sabes que es la correcta. Te agradezco porque aunque estés en España en la frontera con el Norte de África, Marruecos, el nombre de México, tu futuro país, sigue emanando de tu corazón. No tengo la menor duda que Dios te escogió precisamente a ti para realizar ese trabajo tan bello que ejerces. Ya celebraremos en vivo. Sigue adelante forastero Cristóbal.
