Wow, I remember never finishing this game when I was a kid. I would have been pissed about beating it and just getting that ending.

I agree with both of you. That was one of the worst endings that I've ever seen in a video game, ever! Even the Arcade version had one, & was much better.

This ending was terrible. You know they cut out the original ending because the original story has Karnov being sent down by God to save some city or something? They had to axe it along with the cutscenes between levels because of religious themes.
