Unless it's like me. I weight 125 lbs and my instructor weighs 130 lbs so it shoots up and flys 80 knots at 18 inches of manifold pressure

The R22 solo just wants to shoot UP. 2 up they are a pretty nimble machine, go solo and they turn into a super quick sports car.

bloody boring if you ask me.... would have been good if a sliding door opened and 4 guys jumped out with AK47's to the A-team theme....

No doubt about that. Fist time I soloed a fixed wing I had the same feeling - the aircraft felt much lighter than usual.

It was honest. Not sure if it was my 1st pattern but it was tricky losing some altitude as I was used to having an xtra 180lbs in the left seat. I had about 55hrs at the time.
