@Nicole3900 Hitler probably had good intentions too. Intentions count for nothing.

No, this doesn't make her a eugenicist. The way poor people of all colors lived a century ago was beyond appalling. This way, women could bring a baby into that world, or not.

“both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons, and that because abortion is allowed even when there is no problem with the fetus’ health, killing a newborn should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, (up to 3 years of age) including cases where the newborn is not disabled”
-Alberto Giubilini of Monash University, Melbourne Australia.
Read the full article - simply mind-blowing.
This is where abortion fanaticism is leading us.

@toomanyaborted also the eugenics movement sterilized people without consent just because their parents were delinquents, ie an alcoholic. working with the assumption that, if your parents are bad eggs, then their children are doomed to lead poor lives.
I believe in planned parenthood, but its true, Sanger was a vehement racist and her intentions, honestly, are comprised of good and bad. I'd classify her as a bad person though, esp considering she was affiliated with the KKK

Evil woman.

@pwthcim You're right. I agree with you. I disagree with everything Margaret Sanger is saying/believed in.I just wanted people to realize that she thought she was honestly doing the right thing, &she had a reason for doing what she did (at least in her mind she did).It wasn't just "I want to kill babies"it was"I don't want what happened to my mother to happen to anybody else." I am against abortion; I went to the March for Life last year. But I'm just saying she thought she was helping.

@Nicole3900 The road to Hell is paved with "good" intentions. Some admire Hitler and Stalin because they "lived their dreams." Good Lord, our sick society. Our world is spiraling downhill so fast it won't be long now.

@Nicole3900 Well I appreciate you putting this out for the world to see...especially after this whole Susan Konnen controversy.

@opetke I know. I disagree with everything Margaret Sanger believes/teaches. I just want people to find out more about a person before they attck him or her.
Does anybody understand WHY Margaret wanted to spread birth control? B/c her mother died at only age 50 of TB, mainly due to 18 pregnancies (11 live births). She didn't want other women to go through that. So her intentions were good.I'm against birth control & disagree with her, but gosh- everybody here is so hateful. You can state your opinion without being so rude & telling her to "burn in hell." She obviously thought what she was doing what right. It WAS NOT, but her intentions seemed well.

@Nicole3900 We don't agree with some of the strong language, but some of it is fitting for her "good intentions". Considering any human being as "unfit" or "human waste" (see TooManyAborted-com) is despicable. Achieving the elimination of certain people by severely reducing or eliminating their birth rate is not right, by any stretch of anyone's imagination. Her efforts were deplorable, racist, and elitist--rooted in the truly hateful pseudoscience of eugenics.
