CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Trial begins for a Tri-State teacher accused of having sex with two 16-year-old students.Jury selection is underway for 36-year-old Julie Hautzenroeder. She was a teacher at Colerain High School at the time of the allegations. She's charged with sexual battery. Her alleged victims are also in the courtroom.Officials say sometime between late April and mid-May of this year, Hautzenroeder had sex with two students at her Loveland home. She is also accused of drinking and smoking marijuana with the boys. Prosecutors say sheriff's officials obtained text messages between Hautzenroeder and at least one of the boys that were of a sexual nature. Her attorney says the texts were taken out of context.There was a brief delay during jury selection. Three potential jury members for missing for a time. They've since returned to the courtroom.Attorneys hope to seat a jury and get to opening statements before the end of the day. Local 12 will keep you updated on this trial.
