I work with a 2x2 and he seems quite normal, he doesn't get over-excited about God or anything like that. I feel you guys are getting to worried about it

indeed i find the same, they dont get overly excited about God, which is a sure indicator that they dont understand the Gospel and havent been born again

@shawnreid5140 many people are enslaved by this group, when 7 and 8 year old children join you know what is happening? They don't either, should they be brainwashed or use the intelligence and spiritual powers given by God to find Truth for themselves? Someone must begin the conversation, why hide if there is nothing to be hidden?

The sole basis of the foundation was to follow the bible,. I know not of any other fellowship that follows it so closely. I've been in the truth all my life, I love it and has made my life to realiz not my own but the debt I owe to Jesus. Man is what corrupts,. God's word, the Holy Bible has passed continent to continent, If it weren't for scrolls we would have no religion. Simple as that. Someone had to start it in this continent too. All the best to you. My husband and I did not grow up in this group. We joined in our early 20s......they call it the Truth, but it is based on lies. Read a little about the founder William Irvine. The man was nuts and eventually was excommunicqted. Thank God we finally did find the real truth throught the work of the Holy Spirit. Ask one of them what grace is. They will not be able to answer.

i was raised in this group and I have never had any trouble. I do not attend at this time but I could never say a bad or wrong word about it.  I think you need to find somthing better to do with your time.

Deut 13:1-5 false prophet can actually do signs and wonders and have them come to pass. It is if he/she tells you to go after other gods (or tells you that you don't have to keep torah) that makes them a false prophet. If you look up the definition of wicked or wicken ones, it means "lawless one/s" or in other words "without torah". God blows out the "Lamp" of the "wicked ones" In Psalms Torah is referred to as the Lamp of my Feet. This is what the Parable of the foolish virgins teaches.

It's good that your colleague doesn't rant at you, but I don't think it's fair to take this as a sign that ex-members are getting too worried about it.
