I like everything your doing with your fish tank, but i think something might be wrong with your water, Cichlids usually like to approach the very top of the tank when you get close, those guys look like they stay close to the bottom, most likely their suffering from stress and it can potentially kill your cute little guys, try to remove one of the fighters and look into species that get along. but great job so far. check out my tank and tell me what you think.

Nice Set up. Putting 2 male cichlids in a tank together is not a good idea tho. Live and learn I guess. Aquariums are a nice hobby. I use to have one when I was your age and now just recently got back to it again after 12+ years. Great hobby + it looks cool. Nice job kid

Your water is pretty cloudy. You should keep a close eye on the ammonia in it. It can be deadly for the fish.
