Translation 2/2: "So there are three steps: first, workers make the clay by mixing earth with water using a traditional method.  In the 2nd stage of fabrication, the zellij tiles are cut into shape. Once the pieces are ready, a master craftsman fits them together face down to assemble a mosaic. The artisans are very proud to create something so complicated, that reflects such a sophisticated cultural history."
