The camera can be put on top of the helmet (for driver's comfort) but it should look a bit higher in order to see where the car is heading and how driver's focusing on the next corner.

@Hadouification Well DC's was at the right height, the positioning meant that you couldn't see all of what he could see, the best camera would be in the middle of the visor, but I doubt the drivers would let us do that :P

Coulthards POV camera he had for his final race was much better. It was positioned inside the helmet, looking through the visor at eye level.

Not the best angle, wish it were pointed a bit higher, but none the less, a great video. The ideal view would be a helmet camera mounted to the side of the helmet, at eye level.
