Tiananmen Square Students Reject Socialism 6209 LibertyUnderFire.org

Twenty years ago today Tiananmen Square was occupied for seven weeks by thousands of university students wanting liberty as we have it. They even manufactured a Statue of Liberty to symbolize their desire to overthrow socialism. Ironically our intellectual population are promoting and electing those who promote socialism and abandoning, as quickly as they can, the philosophy that made us the envy of all other nations on earth. They wanted democracy, but they did not want capitalism. They were actually also protesting against the "free market". They wanted MORE socialism... Listen to the song at 2:16, it's "the internationale" which is a socialist song.!
