will actuall you can do whatever you want to a nova even a twin turbo big or small block whatever you want!! I have owned a grand national and you have limits to what you can do with a small cubic inch v6; unless you drop in some bigger cubes ooops then its not grand national anymore and its a lot faster... sorry if I hurt feeling but GN's fast in the slower classes!!!!!

A stock Nova was a nose heavy POS. I have owned a 71 Nova and it was lighter then a GN by a few hundred lbs. It was a great car for doing burn outs! Buick did everything right on the GN.

grand national = 3365 lbs
nova = 3400
weight didn't kill it. the gn must've had more power. that means it was far from stock. stock nova vs stock gn, nova would've won.
