Artist "Beeside" did this version in French. (Yes, her name is "Beeside"). The title "Une Sale Histoire" ("A Dirty Story" in English) was the original title. It was later printed as "Change Le Beat" (Change The Beat). This song was a song that Fab5Freddy didn't want released because of his rapping in French. It was later released and ended up being a classic.
It contains the infamous "ahhh" riff that many deejays have used over the year.
Many rappers today never heard this song. But the song displayed a storytelling style that has been lost.
The French rap is far better than the English. The woman tells a totally different story (as well as Fab5Freddy).
Finding the lyrics is very hard.
