The arguments for or against the existence of God are not science at all, and this is the the major point atheists make: that even the best methods we have for discovering truth, fail to show any signs of God, so the question is, why believe?

You just said the existence of God is not about science. In that case, why is it a problem that science hasn't proven he exists? :o

logic? There is NO valid logical argument that proves God exists, believe me i've looked.
