  • Yes, the clay bricks work great in batter boxes as well. One key to sustaining the bricks is to NOT let them completely dry out. Try to water and keep them a bit moist. If they completely dry out, they will turn into dust.

  • Can you use "regular" bricks for this or do they need to be "clay only" bricks. Were getting are field ready for the season and were adding 2 pitching mounds in our bullpen and re-doining the game mound. Last thing: how high can a HIGHSCHOOL pitching mound be legaly. When I played it was 14' and Im pretty sure its changed since I played. Good stuff!! get back to me if you can.

  • As long as they are 'unfired' bricks they should work. A mound can be 10 inches high in high school now.
