Launch Ramp Hecklers

So what do you do for fun on a holiday weekend in Havasu? Hang out at Site Six and heckle people launching and retrieving their boats. Back in the day local spectators would take beach chairs and ice chests and sit themselves next to the launch ramp at the marina, waiting to see the usual fights that would break out amongst launchers. But after the marina got all anal about security, where to go? Enter the free Site Six launch ramp, where spectating became heckling.....

I saw in the paper they're considering improving it and charging a launch fee.

Lol...rather be getting heckled retrieving a boat than sitting on the railing wishing I had one. I didn't realize how many people couldn't afford a boat down there. Did welfare hand out brochures on free entertainment places??

I don't know how many of them don't have boats, but I do know that many locals won't boat on the big holiday weekends and leave the lake to the CA crowds.

I think this does nothing to help our sport. People sitting and heckling people trying to load there boats. @ the 1 min mark you hear a woman say " you need help" the guy says "no" she says "GOOD YOU WEREN'T GONNA GET ANY". Get a life peeps.

Awe...Boo! Booooo! I love the fact so many boats dock there at site six if they charge a launch fee it won't be fun anymore : ( Boo!

It's all in fun. Part of the Havasu Experience. It really is!! Most of these locals have their boat parked at their assigned dock area! @ 3:33 & 4:53 are a good example of having a difficult time with loading their boats....

Site Six is no JOKE!!!!! This video says it all! I've always wondered when someone would make a video about site six : ) Yes it takes guts to load your boat in front of all these hecklers, I wasn't prepared nor did I know what to expect being it was my first time loading in the dark yet alone at site six...my stomach was turning once I was up to back up the trailer...backing up with other head lights in my review mirrors. We'll let me say my guts got us in and the boat out with cheering crowd
