  • Republican plan:

    1. Convince Obama to talk shit about Iran.

    2. Obama talks shit about Iran and Ayallolah responds by calling America "The Great Satan"...again.

    3. Irani people listen to Muslim clergy and start burning flags in the streets and saying "Death to America!"

    4. Republicans say, "Obama is endangering America! He is not keeping America safe and Irani threats are proof!"

    5. McCain run in 2012 with more "foreign policy experience" as platform issue.

    Everyone knows this plan.

  • Obama's doing the right thing. How soon we forget the thousands of Iraqis murdered after daddy Bush encouraged revolution in Iraq.

  • this guy is reaching

June 29, 2008, Seymour Hersh reported in the New Yorker: Late last year, Congress agreed to a request from President Bush to fund a major escalation of covert operations against Iran, according to current and former military, intelligence, and congressional sources. These operations, for which the President sought up to four hundred million dollars, were described in a Presidential Finding signed by Bush, and are designed to destabilize the countrys religious leadership.

  • Peace bro.

  • It doesnt matter, in the sense that Bush, and the Russians, and the Chinese, etc (just as Chomsky predicted) have all used it to advance their fascist agendas. So whether it was US planned and executed, or ignored for political purposes (this is my conclusion,) or really was a bunch of well-coordinated Saudis with a whole lot of weird coincidences on their side -- the result has been almost the worst possible scenario.

  • let us let time and a sincere dose of reflection dictate our replies to one another

  • yes it does matter , this is at the core of my argument , the kind of world we leave our children is important to me!

  • It depends. Are you going to suggest something as indisputably truthful as Chomsky? Or as funny as Betty Bowers? Then, I cant say if I'll take the time. BTW, I have watched most of the 9/11 truth vids. Its all interesting. But with Obama now in office, and everything going on in Iran, etc. I am moving on. I was all torn up back in 2000 when the Supreme Court awarded Bush the presidency too. But I even got over that, and am ready to see what there is to do NOW, to be productive.

  • did my homework, as per your suggestion, reciprocity?

  • I'd reconsider dumping Chomsky for 9/11 truthers. But that's just me. And besides, as Chomsky says, it really doesnt matter.

  • I was a huge fan of Noam"s back in the late 70s to late 80s I have enormous respect for him still , what happened to his message over the years I am still trying to decipher, The core of my alarm is the incontravetible evidence "i,m,h,o} that the gov . expl. of what happened on 9-11 is a lie , I was a skeptic until I heard about bldg 7 , also google nano-thermite found in w.t..c. dust and a fema ground 0 photographer named Kirk Sonnenfeld, check this out and tell me what you think , peace

  • If you want to have a political guru -- especially on economics and foreign policy (and linguistics, if you're into that,) I suggest Noam Chomsky. Please watch Noam Chomsky on the neo "libertarian" movement.

Ron Paul is a weak choice for a political guru, in my opinion.
