The Mayans prophesies the end of time as being December 21 2012, that date is fast approaching... is it fact or fiction? How fast can planetary changes occur? During two days of a major hurrcain upwards of 20 feet of sand was deposited in this bay to create an unprecedented change to the geography of the area.
If they say it is the end of TIME, who said its end of the world?

The Mayan calender ends,. and then they just set up another one, for a certain period. They didn't say the world would end, just that the gods might return.

there might be some changes, further, it's just another day

Recent Research has shown that the mayan calender does not mean the end of the world. Its translates to luck and happiness because its the end of a cycle. Nostradamus predicted the world ending in 3967 with man killing one and other.

@markjaywest Scientists find mathematical astronomical correlates and see how they line up with the different calendars.

In my opinion, i think it's possible.. When you think about the fact that the worlds population was 1 billion in the year 1800, 6 billion in the year 2000 and 7 in the yeah 2010... i think the human race will be culled off... too many people on the planet. Too much damage has been done to the earth with our technology and depleting its natural resources. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.. I could be wrong, all i know it's screwed if the population increases anyway. :P
