Winter Light - III - Jump Schooling

Riding Freddy (Half-lease) and Paige (Trainer's client's horse) in lessons throughout November. We've been schooling low lately as I'm focusing on my equitation. Also, I have a new saddle to ride in! which is totally awesome because Freddy's saddle was way too big for me. The flaps on it were set forward because his owner has long legs, but a shrimp like me swims in it. The change in my equitation is huge, I can actually get my leg underneath me now. I'm no longer feeling like I have to snap my body to stay with Freddy's jump. I can actually keep my vertical integrity and just follow his arc over the fence. Saddles make a huge difference... for serious.
