  • Listen to Tony Allen's voice (he's the guy singing the high part in the background) at 1:39 through 1:43 on the video. Just incredible. His mind-boggling sound is KILLER...JUST UNBELIEVABLE. And this song was not a national hit. What a shame. This song cannot be compared with any other song. It is just soooo fine.

  • I love the falsetto in the backround. This song has a haunting sound.

  • This song is so good it scares me to death.

  • The second falsetto is at 1:53, not 1:43. Yeah, you have to give the falsetto credit. That was such a large part of the doo-wop.

  • estas sin son rolas no chingaderas

  • Who could dislike this group singing this song. This has to be one of my ATFS. I wish they were still singing today............FABULOUS!!

  • As a collector of doo-wops, this song is among the BEST! Ive ever heard!

a truly great song sung beautifully, thanks for posting this masterpiece!

  • When I pass away, I am going to have this song played at my memorial service. This song will be played and those people in attendance will be made known that this was my favorite doo wop balad of all time. No other song can compare to this song. This song was so stunning and breathtaking. I will always wonder why this song was not a hit.

  • I'm sittin' here again, for the millionth time, with goose bumps running up and down my arms. Astonishing falsetto....

  • This song was not written by Val Paliuto. Thinking Of You was written by the songwriting team Kalmar and Ruby in 1925. No criticism meant; just wanted to offer the correct data for this breathtaking song.

  • I read an article on the internet 2-3 days ago which described Tony Allen's falsetto as being "rather stunning." The definition of "stunning" is "causing astonishment or bewilderment." "Stunning" also means "of striking beauty." So...it would be impossible to describe Tony Allen's falsetto as being "rather stunning." His falsetto is incredibly stunning, not rather stunning.
