@Paulpunkrocks ... If it's a hybrid like that one, it's probably because it's a CVT Transmission, which would mean it only has one forward gear..... So, yeah. I would imagine that gear change would take FOREVER...

In the UK, a vehicle of this size with a diesel engine can easily acheive 50mpg combined...

@tcbecht88 i bet even if that myth was true keeping the AC on the recycle mode will keep the air cool enough for the duration of the stop light. byw having lived in florida for 5yrs i know wat you mean by ac is required

@tcbecht88 I think they have ways to keep the a/c cool when the engine is off but I forget what exactly it was.

I heard that when some hybrids do the auto stop feature, the a/c tends to not cool very well. True? False? I live in Florida, so a/c is a necessity.
