@str3123 yes this is correct but i get irritated when am reading about how the opposite of what you said, our drums, our chanting our original praise music is the root of all this pop, hiphop rap etc.. but most blacks dont know where it comes from that knowledge is not taught in schools ourside africa.

@edElud yes now you have to spray them with cudi hehehe its our culture..

almost any music we listen today is strongly influenced by african drummers. I love this kind of videos because they represent the "roots" of modern music. Jazz, hiphop, pop, techno: all made with rythmically shifted forms typical of black music. Thanks for your footage!
Hey edElud, why didn't you 'spray' these drummers with cash? lol

@planetolusola - I sprayed them very well - off camera while they were playing. :)

Thank you very much. I still watch this video almost every week. What rich spirits and talents. Let me know when you make it to Nigeria - I live in Atlanta. Are you a musician?

These videos illustrate the African call and response musical traditions. It still amazes me how the guys can sing, dance and play all at the same time. Also, the variations in sounds and counter rhythms.
