I'm a New Yorker and Love the Boston New York rivalry. it's what makes us special. Because we are so much alike. Irish italian catholics that built this country. BUT can except the future builders as we do.

I've lived in Boston my entire life but I've never been on the Charles river on the 4th of July! I wish I would but my family and I usually have a BBQ at Revere MA or go out of town!

Nothing beats Boston's fireworks. When I was about 8 we had to spend the 4th in Cairo, GA, where we watched their own fireworks at my grandparent's country club. Let's just say I was VERY disappointed. I said to my mom, "was that the finale?" "yep" "WHAT? It didn't even shake the ground! Are you kidding me???"
It's not a proper 4th celebration unless you're walking back to the T, choking on ash.
