Wow, you remind me of Michael English in this song, which is awesome. I can see that you sang it from the heart too. God bless!

My father passed away on Aug 15, 2010....just a few weeks ago. My cousin sang this song at his funeral and sang so soft and beautiful. I have been looking for it everywhere. I have heard many artists sing the song, however I must say, this is the most beautiful version of this song I have ever heard. Thank you and God Bless you for singing this amazing version how it should be sung...genuine and true.

I was written by Don Koch and Shawn Craig. Originally performed by Michael English.

hey are you doing everything with your keyboard, aka splitting, and using the bottom half for bass, and strings/keys for upper? or are you playing with some others in background

Actually...I recorded the background bass and strings first in Garageband, then turned on my iSight camera and played the piano along live and sang as well. All of this was recorded into iMovie where I added the name overlay.

What a beautiful song, arrangement and gorgeous singing! Despite being an atheist, I really appreciate the inspiration faith gives to musicians. After 16 years spent in the church which was imposed by my parents, it's now only music that I miss from those years. Music exactly like that! Keep that great music going, man!

Thanks for the compliment. I'm sorry that you grew up in a situation of religion being forced on you. I guess the thing I like about Jesus is that he too was so opposed to the rules and regulations of the religious leaders of his time. As an athiest, you would enjoy reading the book "Velvet Elvis - Repainting the Christian Faith" by Rob Bell. Look into it, I believe it has some great insight into the imposition that you grew up with. Blessings, Jeff
