  • Ok, you were only about half way in. If you went thru that hole that you said has a little ledge and drops down, you can lay in the water and wiggle on in and then stand up and walk about 20-25 feet further. It opens up again and if you look up you can see light from the tree hole but you would definitely need a rope to climb it. A little further and thru small another small hole 5 feet off the floor there is a little room that someone has years ago dragged an old Lawn Jockey into it.

  • @chub1138 Greetings, I need to quit doing videos when I've been drinking. The 'tree hole', as I kept calling it, is in Part 3. It's the hole you pass by on your way to the top of the rock. It goes nowhere. At the bottom of the hole, there's a crevice that would take you to the spring (you can hear the water running) if you could fit. My time was the 70's as well. There were tree roots in the ceiling in the first big room. I thought someone opened up a hole to drop in from the top.

  • Since you know the area, can you direct me to the falls. As I remember it, we walked down the tracks north for about 1/4 to 1/2 mile and then walked west thru some fields and trees a mile or so to first the small then the tall falls. Maybe this spring we could meet there with the kids and explore.

  • . The arm holding the lantern is broken off. Very few people have been that far in as there is no graffitti on the walls. just a few crushed old cans. Last time I was in was in the 70s so the jockey may be gone by now. I'll probably never find out cause like you said, I don't bend that way anymore.
