how to put hair up without pins or elastics

ive never known anyone who can do this with their hair. i can put up my hair without any pins or elastics and its pretty strong and can stay up for hours. its just a simple bun, kinda half looped into itself.
first i make a normal bun but semi tight, and you just pull the bun through a hole you make with your finger.
i shake my head at the end to show thats its tight and wont come apart.
can anyone else do this?
