Thanks to generous clients, we were able to purchase a real scooter for little Scooter. Check him out! Look at his little back feet! So cute! HE HAS A HOME NOW, by the way! He lives with a veterinarian!

Did you make that or buy it? I really need a cat wheelchair very soon but I don't have the money to buy the commercial ones that are about $200+ so any adivce would be helpful. Thanks

The one in this was bought. There was another video of Scooter, though, in a home-made scooter that worked just as well, if you ask me. It was made out of a plastic box and a three-wheeled planter which you can get at a hardware store. Let me see if I can find the video.

where did u get this 1 from i need 1 just like this 4 mine 7 yrs ago she fell out of a tree and broke her bk 2 legs and thats how shes stayed as exercises r 2 painfull all the wheelchairs i have found are so dear

We ordered it from a company online. I think the cost was under $200. Sorry, I wasn't involved with ordering it or I'd give you more details. There are a lot of companies online if you look! Good luck!

@nat12002 Doesn't look like he's suffering or unhealthy to me. Just because his back legs are paralyzed doesn't mean he can't function and shouldn't be living. What about humans who become paralyzed or lose a limb/limbs? Should they be left to die too?

If a cat is suffering, they will either hide in a corner and not respond to anything, or they will be highly aggressive. As far as I can see, this cat is neither of those, therefore it isn't suffering. Period.

What happened to Scooter that caused him to have to go into a wheelchair. Was he born with it?

@WhyImAwsome humans are capable of reasoning, language, introspection, and problem solving. Cats are not. All animals should be able to express normal behaviour, this cat is house bound, it can not lie down, jump, scratch or groom itself and those are just the things I have initially thought of. This animal is living in torture.
