I have made a new VFX demo reel. It was created in After Effects. All visual assets are mine. The background was made from several individual images from my daughters school and Photoshopped into one image.

Thanks folks. I was pretty happy how the BG turned out. I just wish I had at the time a better camera to get some better resolution, but ...

I had designed the ship originally different before firefly. However, mods were made after watching the show. It actually a 5 year model.

Spectacular job! I'm amazed that the background is actually a series of photographs and not filmed footage. I had no idea you could get that level of depth perception and realism from photos in a CGI animation. I'm going to have to try that trick myself sometime soon. Once again, rolliba, great work!

Truly amazing work! I had to watch it a couple of times to take it all in. The ship reminds me somewhat of the Serenity - only prettier. -lol-
