Artist Khary Randolph lets us in on his hybrid digital process, which combines the best of both worlds using both a wacom cintiq and regular old fashioned pencil and paper.
@allluckyseven Most people prefer doing their layouts/roughs/pencils in traditional format, because they like the feel of the line on paper compared to a line on a Cintiq. It's just a preference really.
Wow, no traditional inking.... Comics have lost their soul.... Not to dismiss this man's skills, he's a fabulous penciller.......

@allluckyseven I don't think i could ever give up my staedtler, no matter how many digital tools I get. I can understand why he still draws on paper.

I wonder why doesn't he draw the whole thing directly on his Cintiq, if he's got one. I mean, why use pencils?
Hm, maybe that's because he could potentially have a better consistency with his lines.
