  • good speech hope your day was brilliant.

  • Thanks, I appreciate it. Any chance you are British. The wife and I are going there in March, any tips?

  • yes im british i recommend that you dont come to y town as it is a mess but it depen on what your interests are s to where you would like to visit. do you like the countryside or historical towns or places like london where you cant walk down the street without being pushed about? its different where ever you go but avoid liverpool if you have a car they steal your wheels drain yor gas tank! finding your car resting on bricks is a holiday ruining moment i think,

  • wow, thanks for the advice!

  • Great speech!

  • @sidpaterson28 I think its a majorly wrong thing to write off towns like Manchester or Birmingham entirely. A huge part of England's industrial revolution and very culturally important for that reason.

Yes they have socioeconomic problems but name me a city that doesnt. An afternoon in Castlefield Manchester walking the canal path and soaking up the history of both industrial history and cultural development points such as the original Hacienda nightclub are anchors of modern british culture.

  • I'm getting married on June 12, 2010. I was researching speeches and found yours to be very well rounded and original. Most of the speeches on You Tube are just stolen rehashes of the same speech, over and over, and over. Bravo and congratulations.

  • proberbly best to avoid manchester too. and birmingham. i think its got to the point now where england is one giant bronx. cumbria is stunning all lakes and mountains and grass lots of woods and quirky villages it nice. no hooded youths in cumbria.
