I used to work here in the 90's, they send up weather balloons to test the air pressure before a test explosion. If there is too much pressure the explosion will blow windows out of houses 5 miles away. Just an idea of what this could be. Yea I know "weather balloons" again but it's true.

I wonder if it is an experimental apparatus belonging to the Lab? I saw a huge (about 1/6th the Golf Ball at Disney World, no kidding) red lit ball with a glowing, pulsating, orange aura and a black something like a stripe horizontal through the middle. It was very low, behind house tops and hard to see. Traveling normal aircraft speed, but dissappeared. This was about a year ago, about 7:30pm in North livermore. Can't believe no one else saw this back then!!! I don't know what it was?????????

At about 11:45 am I spotted a similar object it looked bright glowing white and then shrunk up to a disk shape and vanished, and this occured in livermore ca.
